Forty-year-old Nazrul Islam owns a small shop at 'Finley Square' at Gate No. 2 of Chittagong city. Various kinds of food are arranged in front of his shop. Nearby stores also have the same food, but Nazrul's shop remains more crowded. One of the reasons for the crowd is that this shop is located in one of the places where the needy and helpless passerby gets free food.

Nazrul's shop has become a place of trust for people who cannot talk about hunger because of shame, people who have gone door to door without getting food and returned. You need not have to pay any money to eat the food you like. Not only the needy, but those who need it, come and eat from this small shop on their own.

Nazrul cooks food for 50-60 people daily. The wealthy are buying and eating from his shop and the needy are eating as they need free of charge. No restrictions. Because Nazrul wrote on the shop's banner, are you hungry? Don't have money? Tell me secretly. Eat your fill.

There is a different story behind this remarkable initiative. Once, Nazrul suffered a loss of one and a half crore Taka by trading in clothes in India. It suffered severe food shortage. On that day, he made a bet that if he ever had the financial capacity, he would arrange food for the starving people.

However, Nazrul did not get married due to the debt of 25 lakhs on his shoulders to stand by the helpless. He is Constantly trying to repay the debt. Nazrul dreams that one day all his debts will be cleared. In the future, he will have a bigg restaurant. Where many starving eat. But the debt burden is increasing. So if the rich people of the society had stood by Nazrul at this moment, his difficult path would have been much smoother.
